My name is Wendy Leal and I am a Tupperware Director. I have been marketing Tupperware products online since 2004. Before I joined Tupperware, about 10 years ago, I dabbled in creating websites for fun. I was a stay at home mom and I was looking for an outlet and something to do and the internet was a great release for me to be creative. Back then I had a Disney themed website that I would work on and mess around with.
A few years later I came across affiliate programs and saw that I could make money by promoting companies products through my own website. I made a little money here and there, not much as I was still learning how to do it all. I quickly noticed that in order to get more exposure for a website that I had to learn SEO (Search Engine Optimization). By learning SEO I could rely on the search engines to drive traffic to my websites and by doing that I would be making more money with my affiliate programs. I became quite good at it!
In 2004 I was a member of Tupperware’s affiliate program that was ran by LinkShare. While visiting the Tupperware website I noticed that people could host their own Online Tupperware Parties and earn free Tupperware Gift Certificates. I thought that was pretty cool and so I signed up for an online party through a friends Tupperware website. I then started asking her more questions about Tupperware and she told me that she made a 25% commission when anyone purchased something from her Tupperware website. She also told me that Tupperware consultants could qualify for personal sales volume bonuses, trips, prizes and that they could even drive an all expense paid car!
I was making a 7% - 8% commission (I forget the exact amount) through the Tupperware Affiliate program and it really was a no-brainer for me so I purchased a Tupperware business kit and then got a Tupperware web site and started selling Tupperware Online.
I am now a Tupperware Director and I just love it! I still specialize in selling online and I have been Blessed with a great team of men and women that are selling Tupperware under me! Some choose to sell Tupperware through the Home Party Plan while others specialize in the Tupperware Fundraising Program while others sell Tupperware products through vendor events.
Tupperware is a great company with flexible ways to earn money and that is what I love the most about this business opportunity. The products are in high demand and loved by many. I am sure you could tell me stories about Tupperware from your childhood!
